A few of our swivels are available in two qualities. The difference is the quantity of steel ball bearings. More ball bearings are always better at distributing weight. This also means a longer lasting smoother running swivel. In addition, an all ball bearing swivel does not require a plastic race to keep the ball bearings separated apart from each other since it is completely filled with the ball bearings.

This actually is the same swivel as Style #B144F above but with Memory return. For safety and easier installation, a stud bolt is used instead of bolt holes. 4 threaded 1/4" studs are anchored securely at 2 1/2" on centers. Instead of installing a bolt, you install a lock nut (included). The 1" longer plate length will not alter or interfere with any stool or chair mounting and is to accommodate the black (see Arrow) heavy duty left and right positive stop.

Unique rust resistant positive spring loaded locking lever that when activated permits rotation to any of 4 positions (90 degree advance).
