How do I measure the screw hole pattern?
There are several methods to measure a screw hole pattern.
Do not measure diagonally crossing the center rivet. Exact is not necessary since the slot is elongated and a screw can be placed anywhere within. A 5 1/4" mounting screw hole pattern is an industry standard for most commonly used swivels.
What if my old swivel plate is a different size?
Plate size can vary 1/4" or so and will not cause any loss of strength or support.
My old swivel is completetly different!
Our entire inventory is shown. We do not inventory any other
swivels that are differently sized.

My old swivel screw hole centers measure differently than yours, but the mounting plates are roughly the same size.
Simply drill a new screw hole as needed. However, since the slot is elongated there is usually more than sufficient space within each slot to place the screw back into it's original hole.
I don't know if I need Flat or Tilted.
If there is no back, it is Flat.
Not all Kitchen chairs, Dining chairs or Bar stools with a back are
necessarily tilted, although most are.

My new swivel won't turn!
New swivels will not be as easy to turn as your old worn out swivel. Swivels out of the package are difficult to turn by hand until mounted. This is perfectly normal and is not a defect! New swivels will require a short break in period before turning freely...just as your old swivel did when it was new.
What about swivel maintenance?.
No maintenance is necessary. Swivel bearings have been pre lubricated at the factory.
